To evaluate and regulate the use of electricity, gas, and water usage, our energy monitoring services use digital meters to measure and analyze your usage. We assess your utilities and replace all analog meters with digital measuring devices when you engage us for this service.
How does this work?
The digital devices send an output to a computer program which then analyzes your usage and compares it to historical data or demand limits entered.
If the usage detected is greater than historical usage or the demand limit, the system automatically takes necessary measures to minimize energy usage. These measures may include:
- sounding an alarm
- taking non-critical items off the grid to reduce peak load values
- electronically closing a water valve in the event of a water line break.
What does this mean for you?
A fully automated system designed to save energy takes the guesswork and worry out of the equation, allowing the system to make necessary adjustments.
The result?
Save your money, your time, and the environment.
