Our Green Team Initiatives

The main objective of the Green Team is to make learners, educators, and other school community members conscious of the importance of their patterns of energy consumption. To take steps towards awareness, the Green Team is organizing discussions on renewable energies and sustainable development (with students, teachers and community members).

In relation to this significant piece of education, participants in the Green Team can take practical steps to reduce energy consumption by suggesting energy-saving initiatives in schools and households.

This combination of informing and acting leads to a stronger knowledge of power usage, district power cost savings (and some households), and true environmental-friendly change.

Funds

Energy Optimizers, USA is proud to promote Green Teams by offering financing. We offer teacher stipends as well as funding for materials that educators can use to produce Green Team-appropriate courses for their district. We also provide scholarships for seniors involved with Green Teams to promote and reward student attempts to reduce energy consumption. Lastly, we fund energy-saving projects that could result in savings of up to 10%.
